Our Mission

Steve and Lily formed Sharpe Mediation LLC to assist attorneys and parties in resolving litigation matters and legal disputes. Sharpe Mediation focuses on complex business, trust, wrongful death, medical malpractice, personal injury, and employment litigation. Steve and Lily met at Notre Dame Law School in 1982. They believe passionately in the benefits provided by alternative dispute resolution. Together, they bring decades of diverse legal and life experience to their mediation practice. Their biographies are below.

Steve Sharpe

Steve served for over twelve years as a Wyoming District Court Judge, presiding over a broad range of general jurisdiction cases. In 2021, at the invitation of the Wyoming Supreme Court and District Court Judges, Steve served as a Chancery Court Judge for the newly created Wyoming business court. He continued hearing Chancery Court and general jurisdiction cases until a full-time Chancery judge was appointed in 2025. Prior to his appointment to the Wyoming bench, Steve served as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Department of Justice. Earlier in his career, Steve enjoyed working as a partner with Anthony, Nicholas, and Sharpe, where he specialized in personal injury, business litigation, wrongful death, medical malpractice, insurance defense, worker’s compensation and employment litigation.  

Lily Sharpe

Lily grew up in Lander, working on the family ranch and at her father’s law office. After graduating from the University of Wyoming, she attended the University of Notre Dame Law School. Following law school, Lily served as a staff attorney for the Wyoming Attorney General’s Office, the United States District Court for the District of Wyoming, and the Wyoming Legislative Service Office. Most recently, she served as the Wyoming Judicial Branch State Court Administrator and as the Administrator of the Wyoming Legislative Service Office Research and Evaluation Division.

Outside of work, Steve and Lily enjoy the outdoors and traveling. Their favorite pastime, however, is spending time with family, especially their six grandchildren.
